STATE TEST PREP

Midwinter Camp is coming up! The focus for our camp will be State Test Prep for half of the day, and Technology and Design for the other half.  It is sure to be a fun-filled and productive week!  Sign your child up today to give them that extra boost before the upcoming State Tests!  

TECHNOLOGY AND DESIGN

An astronaut?  An engineer? A city planner/rewilder?  What does your child want to be when she grows up?  The reason so many college students feel lost when considering majors is because they have no hands-on experience within their fields of interest.  Additionally, many of them are mentored towards fields that have previously been considered necessary and relevant, without any predictive market research.  Our Technology and Design Day Camps are designed to help us and the students to discover their proclivity for fields of study.  

The Technology and Design topics are chosen from a pool of jobs/degrees that our founder, Mr. S. has accumulated in his own research.  After sifting through various sources of data and research, he has compiled a list of the most relevant degrees and jobs to prepare for in the near/distant future.  Together, he and the teachers have created appropriate, relevant, and interactive lesson plans to accommodate the students; simplifying topics, using tablets, virtual reality, powerpoints, and other hands-on mediums to help the students absorb the information.  All of this is provided in a manner that places our students in the driver’s seat that they long to be in. No child is too young to be exposed to the real skills necessary for future employment. Taking Math and English classes is necessary, but real work experience in relevant fields at an early age is paramount.
